ABOUT THE FOUNDERS:
Commander Thomas Czulewicz and his wife began hosting Christmas parties more than 30 years ago to raise funds for children’s organizations. In 2018, they decided to focus those efforts on Veterans, building on Commander Czulewicz’s 34 years of service in the United States Navy Submarine Service.
That commitment became the Gift-a-Vet Foundation. Today, the Foundation supports Veterans residing in South Carolina Veterans Homes by providing gifts, personal comfort items, and other support intended to enhance their quality of life and remind them that their service and sacrifice have not been forgotten.
Gift-a-Vet works with participating Veterans Homes to understand their residents’ needs and direct donated items and financial support where they can make a meaningful difference.
